Chaired by Dr Jonathan Lusthaus
An Extra-Legal Governance Institute event
Free | Online Event
This event highlights the latest research on cybercriminal business models, produced by scholars from the University of Oxford, Cardiff University, the Free University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement, and Michigan State University.
The first half of the event will outline findings from a project titled “Case by Case: Building a Database on Cybercriminal Business Models”. The research involved analysis of 10 “closed” cybercrime investigations, drawing on interviews with investigators, along with access to law enforcement files. This work was supported by the UK Home Office via a National Cyber Security Programme research grant.
The second half of the event will feature an expert roundtable chaired by Jonathan Lusthaus (Oxford), featuring Tom Holt (Michigan), Edward Kleemans (Amsterdam), Rutger Leukfeldt (NSCR), Mike Levi (Cardiff), and Federico Varese (Oxford).
There will be opportunities for audience engagement and questions in both sessions.
If you would like to attend, please email Jack Warburton. Joining details will be provided closer to the event date.
