My affiliation is to the department of Sociology at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. In Oxford, I am attending courses and seminars, and I hope to achieve better theoretical and methodological understanding for my project and meet people working on similar projects.
My Master's dissertation is about blue-collar placement among students of French Grandes Ecoles. I take the opportunity to stay in Oxford this year to study how, in England, engineering students who are sponsored by industry are expected to spend part of the the summer vacation working in the company on the factory floor.
I am an associate member to St Catherine's MCR and my supervisor here is Jean-Pascal Dalloz.
