Communications and Events Manager

Laurel is the Communications and Events Manager, responsible for delivering a range of communications to staff, students and alumni, while also planning and delivering events in the department.

Prior to joining the Department, Laurel held a communications role at an architectural consultancy in London, and before that worked in the admissions department at St Catherine’s College. She studied Archaeology and Anthropology at Keble College and also holds an MSc in Evolutionary Anthropology. Laurel is passionate about increasing accessibility to heritage and enjoys volunteering at family events at Oxford’s museums.
