Laura O’Mahony
Head of Administration and Finance
Laura O’Mahony is the Head of Administration and Finance. Laura works closely with the Head of Department, the Steering Committee and senior faculty to set the Department’s strategic direction. She leads the Department’s administrative staff in implementing the strategy in supporting the teaching and research activities of the Department and ensuring high-quality Departmental governance and services for staff, students and visitors.
Laura has worked for the University of Oxford since 2011. Previously, she was the Head Administrator at the Oxford Robotics Institute (ORI). Before joining the ORI she worked for the Mathematical Modelling CDT (Maths Institute) and before that, the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (Department of International Development).
