Researcher, CEE, Sciences Po

Ilka’s research is primarily focused on the implications of international mobility for contemporary societies. At the crossroads of the cognitive sciences and social sciences, her current work looks at forecasting and decision-making in times of uncertainty. She is notably involved in a transnational project studying how policymakers forecast migration trends, in France and in the UK.

At Oxford, Ilka also teaches research methods, based on her extensive experience in interdisciplinary collaborations and transnational research design.

Prior to joining Oxford, Ilka spent two years at Princeton as a Procter Fellow and two years at UPenn, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the École Normale Supérieure de Paris.
