Postdoctoral Research Officer

Profile

Grace is a Postdoctoral Research Officer working on the GenTime project (PI: Professor Man-Yee Kan). She holds an MSc and BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Previously, she has conducted research about survey methodology and demography at the UK Generations and Gender Project, University of Southampton, as well as about child development and skills at the Young Lives project, University of Oxford. She has also worked in policy research at a local think-tank group in Malaysia on poverty and social mobility. 

She is affiliated to the Young Lives project and the Centre for Population Change.

Grace’s research interests are in time use, human capital, and wellbeing, with much of her work focusing on young people. She is interested in understanding how time reflects decision-making, power and inequalities, and its relationship with individual wellbeing.
