My PhD thesis, 'Towards a Sociology of Enrolment among Ethnic Minorities in the French Army', stands at the cross-road of immigration sociology and military sociology. The objective is to understand the motivations and characteristics of the decision making process of French citizens of immigrant origins to enlist into the French Army.
I am here to benefit from the wide range of resources dedicated to the study of these issues. Lastly, this stay will also allow me to give value to my PhD thesis and to engage with scholars interested in migration issues (ethnicity, discriminations, Islam).
