Canet is a PhD candidate at Middle East Technical University, Department of Sociology in Turkey. She also has been working as a Research Assistant at Hacettepe University, Department of Sociology in Turkey since 2009.
Canet's research interests are social policy, gender policies, employment policies, women and working Life.
Currently, she is working on a research project exploring the implications of flexibilization and precariousness on living and working conditions of female labour in service sector.
