Deni Mazrekaj, Postdoctoral Researcher in Sociology and Social Demography, has received the 2021 James Coleman Award for Best Article for his paper on school outcomes of children raised by same-sex parents, co-authored with Kristof De Witte and Sofie Cabus.

The James Coleman Award annually honours the author of the best article in the field of sociology of education published in the preceding two years.
