DPhil in Sociology

I am a DPhil student in Sociology at Nuffield College. My research interests revolve around inequalities, social networks, segregation, social influence, and social capital. 

Prior to joining Nuffield College, I obtained a BA and MA from Leipzig University in Germany and worked in a research project led by Georg Lorenz on friendship networks and educational inequality. 

In my DPhil project, I aim to speak to questions pertaining to perceptions of inequality, segregation between social groups, intergroup attitudes, trust, and polarisation.

Research Interests: Social stratification, social network analysis, social class, social norms, social influence, social cohesion
