Scott Matthews is the Department’s Senior Facilities Support Assistant. He is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Department of Sociology and physical infrastructure at 42 Park End Street.
In this role, Scott ensures that the building environment is safe, functional and well-maintained to support the Department’s teaching, research and administrative activities. He oversees routine maintenance tasks, coordinates repairs, and works closely with the Admin Team and external contractors to resolve facilities-related issues efficiently.
Scott has been with Facilities and Maintenance in the University since 2019 and has previously worked with the Faculty of Law, Faculty of English and other departments.
