Michael Chong is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Computational Social Science and a Non-Stipendiary Research Fellow at Nuffield College working with Professor Ridhi Kashyap.
Michael's research develops modelling and estimation methods to measure demographic and health indicators, particularly in data-sparse settings. He is broadly interested in applications to population health, and his work has helped to understand global maternal mortality and stillbirth.
Before joining Oxford, he completed his PhD in Statistics at the University of Toronto.
