Lauren is an MSc student in Sociology at Reuben College. She previously earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and Psychology from Michigan State University.

Her current research sits at the intersection of political sociology and cultural analysis. She seeks to investigate the comparative salience of cultural backlash and nativist grievance frames in the 2024 US and UK election campaigns, integrating qualitative content analysis with large-scale survey data to assess how political actors deploy these narratives and which demographic groups they mobilise.

Prior to her master’s work, Lauren collaborated on a large-scale qualitative project on campus sexual culture, sexual violence, sexual education, and consent, with findings published in Sexuality & Culture.
