Thesis Title: The Gender Inequalities in British Elder Couples’ Life Patterns and Well-Being: Longitudinal and Dyadic Perspectives

Supervisor: Dr Lindsay Richards

I possess a diverse and interdependent educational background. I completed my undergraduate degree at Jinan University in China. After earning my first master's degree in Glasgow, I went on to complete a second master's degree at UCL, where I studied advanced quantitative methods and learned to utilise various data analysis tools.

My research interests primarily focus on aging, health, work-family dynamics, spousal interactions, and the intersections and integration of these factors. Furthermore, I have a particular interest in older married couples and aspire to contribute to research on their wellbeing and promote successful aging. I employ quantitative research methods, utilising longitudinal data to address practical research questions, and am familiar with datasets such as the Understanding Society and ELSA.

Research Interests: Work-family spillover effect; gender inequalities; health; older couples
