Thesis Title: Work Flexibility and Family Dynamics

Sizhan is a DPhil (PhD) student in Sociology. Using quantitative methods, her research examines how contemporary work arrangements, including flexible, remote, and precarious employment, relate to household life and the wellbeing of family members.
She currently works as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Time Use Research (CTUR) at UCL Institute of Education, directed by Professor Jonathan Gershuny, where she contributes to the ESRC-funded Next Steps in Time Use Research (NeSTUR) project.
Her research has been published in leading journals, including The British Journal of Sociology, Social Indicators Research, and BMC Public Health.
