Thesis: Inequalities in Mortality, Morbidity and Clinical Health Traits with Explainable Artificial Intelligence

Supervisors: Professor Ridhi Kashyap and Dr Charles Rahal

Jiani's formal training includes degrees in Sociology and Demography, Computational Econometrics, and Computer Science. She is presently a first-year DPhil student in Sociology at the University of Oxford, and a Research Assistant and consultant within the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science. She is also an affiliated member of the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research. 

Jiani is a computational social scientist dedicated to understanding health inequalities in mortality and morbidity, with explainable artificial intelligence. Her research seeks to bring explainability to traditional demographic mortality studies by bridging them with current health inequality research.
