As we enter a post-lockdown period of the COVID-19 pandemic, demographic and social science perspectives are increasingly vital. Governments are asking how they can maintain long periods of social distancing or rapidly repurpose resources where they are most needed.
Our aim is to apply advanced interdisciplinary modelling techniques to forecast population mortality and inequality risks to provide socially and empirically informed advice for effective public health interventions during the COVID-19 exit period.
